International cooperation
The centre has published a host of monographs and papers, also in English and Serbo-Croatian. In cooperation with the Department of Law at the University of Maribor and professors from foreign universities, it organises a postgraduate study course in International Law.
Notable past projects include the Maribor Initiative (Mariborska pobuda), which endeavoured to enhance the contribution of religious communities towards the reconciliation, respect of diversity, democracy, human rights, protection of minorities, cooperation, and stability in South East Europe.
In conducting research, the centre collaborates with the Council of Europe, the European Union, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN), the International Institute for Ethnic-group Rights and Regionalism (INTEREG), and similar national and international institutions.
